I Am T-Pain 2.0 App Reviews

Im an audio engineer and a producer from Chicago and I thought this would be a fun app to play with...the thing is, every time I try to open my own instrumental in the app it immediately crashes or if I try to save what I did if it gets that far- it crashes. Needs some serious work because its people like me who will either pay for something worth having or want my money back. Right now I want my money back.

I bought an app that is not updated since 2012 (3 years ago) for expensive $3. You may think I am stupid. Yeah, I am. I really am. I thought I would have some fun by using it, but, the minute I entered the app (made for iPhone 4s layout, they didnt even change that), I saw that, if I want to sing to a song and use the proper effect to that specific song, I have to buy that song. For $2. This means that on the first 2 minutes of using an entertainment app, which is supposed to be fun, I ended up with gradually less money on my account. There is no way you can purchase every song in the app, as there are lots of it – you would end bankrupt. But, anyways, my main point is: do NOT download this app. Its a WASTE of MONEY and TIME. Please dont do that to yourselves. Dont be stupid. Dont be me. Oh, and thanks, Smule, for being such a great company and keeping an outdated app for so long, just to keep getting money from people. Not anymore... Just wish I could get my money back.

I tried multiple times and it doesnt work. I suggest you dont buy this. Its a complete waste of money...

It doesnt let me post my music to Facebook and it automatically erases what I have already done and I cant find it anymore .

There is some nasty feedback coming from my device only when the app is running and it ruins the audio quality of the recordings almost to the point of making it inaudible.

This app is barely usable. Unless you use the built-in mic, your voice comes out waaaay too low compared to the music. That’s dumb, because then you have to turn the volume down very low while recording or you’ll get feedback. You can’t save your song locally. It uploads it to a website and you have to play it from there. It does support uploading videos to youtube, but what good is that when you’ll never hear yourself in the video. This app is quick-buck abandonware. Save your money, don’t buy it.

Every time I try to open one of my songs from my iTunes library, the app closes. Its fun, but "free styling" all the time gets old. Do not waste your money.

It is fun to use, but u cant share it with your friends, when u do they just the link to purchase the app. I cant save it... And you have to buy every song u want to sing for $1.99 And they have a very poor selection, Dont waste your money.

I would give this app 4 or 5 stars if it didnt crash every single time you want to sing over a song from your personal music library. Please fix soon.

Every time I open an instrumental from my iTunes library its force quits

Disappointed big time... Cant even load an iTunes song without crashing.

Id be ashamed to hold out my hand for money on this app. This app constantly crashes and has had so many bugs that I had to delete it. You have advertised this and other apps you have made on social media telling how great your apps are, and you cannot keep the maintenance up. This is not only UNPROFESSIONAL IT IS AGGRAVATING! Someone needs to hire a person or persons who can make this a a success. And my final thought; you need to contact apple and find out who has made in app purchases and give them a refund on the money they have spent. SHAME ON YOU !

This app is garbage now!!! U can only save songs that are made with the beats they provide!!!! Which are less than satisfactory, even if u have 101 original beats in your library u cant save them as the app crashes as soon as u choose or save an already recorded song

So I downloaded the app in the hopes it was true auto tune I was disappointed it was still fun to play around with but not for anyone who wants to be a serious singer. So my opinion is if you want to experience the most basic of auto tune go for it but for myself it wasnt worth it.

When I pay for an app I dont expect it to crash as much as this one does

As much as I like the auto tune feature, I really ONLY bought this app to use iTunes library music. But, it crashes when I do this! Please fix! This app has so much potential.
